Contrast Therapy
Cold & Hot
Contrast therapy is the reason most of our members end up here. You move between the sauna and the cold plunge — heat, then cold, then back again — usually three or four rounds across about forty-five minutes.
Each swing does something. The heat opens everything up and loosens tight muscles. The cold shuts it back down. Cycling between the two asks more of you than either one alone, and most people find it does more for them too. It’s also the hardest thing on this list to replicate at home, which is why it’s the service members build their week around.

Your First Round
There’s no single correct protocol, but a reasonable starting point is fifteen minutes of heat, a minute or two of cold, a few minutes to level out, then repeat. Finish on cold if you want to feel alert afterward, finish on heat if you’re heading to bed.
Come in during staffed hours for your first round and someone will walk you through it while you find your own rhythm. After that, members can run contrast any hour, as often as they like. Call 208-888-5859 or make a reservation below.
